  • Heavenly Father, we come in the Name of Jesus – not our name, not our power, not our holiness, not even our goodness – but we come in the Name of Jesus, washed in His blood, robed in His righteousness. We come because You told us to come.

You said in Your Holy Word for us to come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain help and grace to help in the time of need. Thank You, Father. We are exhorted in Your Word to pray, to intercede, to supplicate, and to give thanks for all who are in authority, that Christians – that believers – everywhere, may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

We pray for our leaders – our President, every member of Congress, the Supreme Court, the President’s cabinet, everyone that’s in authority – that divine wisdom and grace will be given unto them. And direction will be given unto them.

We come against the powers of darkness, the forces of evil, that would try to dominate and rule in our own nation. We rise up against that darkness. We rise up against those spirits and dispel the darkness.

In the Name of Jesus, we command the devil to take his hand off the political scene of our nation. We pray for every politician, everyone that’s in office, that they’ll not be so concerned about politics, that they’ll not be so party conscious, but that they’ll be concerned about our nation as a whole – and above all, put God first.

We come against the powers of darkness, the forces of evil, the demons of hell that would endeavor to dominate the financial scene of our nation. We pray for the economy of our nation. We pray about the unemployed.

We pray that the economy will be turned around, and everyone who wants a job will find a job, and that we will be prosperous as a whole – as a nation – to continue to carry the Gospel around the world.  We command the devil and all his cohorts: Take your hands off the financial scene in our nation.

We come against the powers of darkness, the forces of evil that would endeavor to dominate the domestic scene of our nation. We command the devil and his cohorts: Take your hands off the domestic scene of our nation.

May there be peace. May there be tranquility. May there be understanding from the Atlantic to the Pacific, from the Gulf of Mexico to the Canadian border.

We sweep the air clean from demons and powers of evil that would hinder and dominate.  In the Name of Jesus! We come against all forces that are wrong.

And Father, we pray with our understanding as best we know how. We’re instructed to do so. Yet we sense in our spirit that our spirits have not prayed as they would like.

We remember that Paul said that if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prays, my spirit, by the Holy Spirit within me prays.

So the great, mighty Spirit of God dwells in us. He is our Helper. He is our Counselor. He is our Advocate. He is our Intercessor. He is our Standby. He will help us. We trust Him to help us pray in this area and about our nation and the leaders and all that are in authority.

Help us to pray as we ought to pray, and about things that we don’t even know to pray.

And so, we trust Him. He will give us utterance. And we will pray and intercede and give thanks to the Spirit.

  • One thing will save America, it is not a political party, it is not a man or woman, it is an awakening to God!

Heavenly Father, it is evident all across this great land that spiritual hunger and thirst are at an all-time low. We thank You for the promise in Your Word that when we ask, You will pour out rain.

“Ask the LORD for rain In the time of the latter rain. The LORD will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, Grass in the field for everyone.” Zechariah 10:1 (NKJV)

“Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the LORD, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.” Hosea 10:12 (NKJV)

We are asking for rain to fall in every city and state in this country. May every person in every walk of life, every social status, economic status, and political persuasion experience the outpouring of your Spirit and Your presence.

In the Name of Jesus, we take authority over spiritual darkness that has tried to invade our nation and we declare men and women are awakening unto God.

Thank You Father, for a true spiritual awakening... for an invasion of Your glory accompanied with the manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit.

  • Father, we come before You in the mighty Name of Your Son, Jesus, our Lord. We plead the blood of Jesus over our troops and ask You to keep them safe and rescue them from danger.

Provide for and protect the families of our armed forces. During times of separation, strengthen them and give them the wisdom to cope with daily challenges in the absence of their loved ones. Thank You for wise counselors who are helping the children of those men and women who are deployed to other nations. May You be their source of comfort and peace that passes understanding.

Father, we are grateful for those who have given their lives for our country. God of all comfort, we ask You to comfort loved ones—wives, children, mothers, fathers, family members, and friends. We call upon Jehovah-Jireh to see to their needs and provide for them according to Your glorious riches.

Father, we are looking forward to that day when there shall be no more war, and the whole earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord.

  • Father, thank You for the courageous men and women who have chosen such difficult and dangerous jobs—police, fire, and EMTs. Thank You for their sacrifices and service. Thank You for their hard work in training and preparing. Help them to feel the respect and gratitude of their communities.

Keep our first responders safe in every situation. Go before them and prepare the way; guard their going out and their coming in (Psalm 121:8). Thank You for giving Your angels charge concerning them, to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Show Yourself strong on their behalf and be their refuge and fortress in times of danger. Hide them in the shadow of Your wings and cover them with your feathers; let Your faithfulness be their shield and rampart (Psalm 91:14-16).

Father, Your word says that anyone who lacks wisdom should ask You, and You will provide it. I ask for discernment on behalf of first responders, who frequently face complex situations and must make quick decisions. Give them wisdom, Lord, and help them in their moment of need to make timely and wise decisions.

Guard their hearts and minds. Restore their mental and emotional resources when they have been depleted. And let them not become weary in their good work (Galatians 6:9).

Grant that first responders everywhere may “Be strong and courageous…not be afraid…not be discouraged.” Help them to know that You will be with them wherever they go (Joshua 1:9, NIV). “Strengthen the hands that are weak and the knees that are feeble and make straight paths for [their] feet” (Hebrews 12:12, NASB).

  • Heavenly Father, grant school leaders, superintendents, and principals wisdom to walk in what is pleasing to You. Let Your will be done in schools around the world.

May teachers and parents know that children are a gift from God, that You knew them before they were formed in the womb, and that Your purposes for them are preordained.

May parents and teachers realize that they are on the same team and share a common goal, to do what is best for the students. We pray for gracious words to flow between teachers and parents. Impart in educators an awareness that they are accountable for their students. Guide parents on how to discipline their children. Let parents teach their children reverence and respect so that it can flow between parents, teachers, and students. Grant teachers and parents humility.

Help educators meet the emotional needs of their students. Grant them special awareness and understanding for each child especially as they transition back to the classrooms after isolation and remote learning due to COVID-19. We pray that students and adults alike will learn to love their neighbors as Jesus loved them.

We send angels of protection to surround schools and protect students, parents, and teachers from active shooters, violence on schools grounds and terrors which may come. We pray and stand against cyber bullying on social media and bullying on playgrounds. We bind any attacks of the enemy that would try to bring hurt and harm to students and faculty. May they be revealed and stopped beforehand.

We ask that you bless the support staff of schools:

    • Nurses keeping our children healthy.
    • Bus drivers as they drive students to and from schools.
    • Cafeteria workers that prepare the food for students and teachers.
    • Custodians who keep the classrooms and restrooms clean.
    • Administrative assistants as they serve the schools needs.

Protect parents and students as they travel back and forth to school.

May school leaders come to know You and cast their worries on Jesus. May they believe You are in control and are watching over Your Word to perform it in their lives and the lives of the students.

  • EPHESIANS 1:17-23

17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to _______ the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,

18 the eyes of _______’s understanding being enlightened; that _______ may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward _______ who believe, according to the working of His mighty power

20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.

22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

    EPHESIANS 3:14-21

14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

16 that He would grant _______, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in _______ heart through faith; that _______, being rooted and grounded in love,

18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height -

19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that _______ may be filled with all the fullness of God.

20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
