The Women’s Ministry is designed to enhance lives through special meetings, prayer groups, fun, and fellowship.

The vision of the Women’s Ministry is threefold. It is our desire to see you:

• Become rooted in a personal, loving relationship with Jesus.
• Have a better understanding of yourself and your purpose in life.
• Develop personal relationships with other women and allow for a friendly, non-threatening environment that allows you to introduce non-believers to a church setting.

Annual Events
During the year we have a variety of events and programs in which women can become involved. Some of these include:

The mission of our Men’s Ministry is four-fold:

• To reach men with the life-changing power of Jesus Christ and impact their ability to love and know God, themselves, their spouses and their children.
• To teach men how to trust God for all things through the power of faith and the Word of God.
• To reach out to those men who do not have a relationship with God with the good news of the Gospel.
• To offer a way of accountability to help one another in difficult times.

Prayer Encounter takes place Thursdays at 12 noon in the Sanctuary and on Facebook and YouTube.

Prayer is a vital and pivotal part of our ministry. We recognize that purposeful, powerful prayer paves the way for the impossible to become possible.

Have you ever asked the questions, “How can I know I am praying effectively?” or “Can I get answers to my prayers?”

The prayer ministry at Heart of the Bay Christian Center was established to assist believers in seeing the importance of a vibrant prayer life based on fellowship and relationship with God and on knowing the Biblical truths that lead to answered prayer.

It is our desire to teach and instruct every believer by precept and example. This is accomplished by prayer being taught from the pulpit, special classes, as well as books and materials available in our Bookstore. Believers can participate in weekly prayer groups as well as special times of corporate prayer. During these meetings, believers are able to put into practice what they’ve learned about prayer.
