In the last couple days, our governor and health officials have banned singing in places of worship in California. Here is the exact statement:
"Places of worship must therefore discontinue singing and chanting activities and limit indoor attendance to 25% of building capacity or a maximum of 100 attendees, whichever is lower. Updated COVID-19 guidelines issued by the state Department of Public Health require churches and other houses of worship to discontinue singing and chanting.Gavin Newsom has tightened protocols during a resurgence of the virus now says singing and chanting are banned."
Although we are disappointed in this latest directive, we recognize the challenge that is taking place with the spike of Covid-19 in California and in many parts of the country. Because we already registered about 100 people in each service before we were made aware of this ban on singing, we have decided to still have services in our building this Sunday. We will continue to assess and evaluate weekly any adjustments or tweaks that we may be making. We will communicate through email, social media and our website as to what you can expect each week.
For now, we are going to limit the singing to our worship team on the platform. Here is what we recommend: Consider other ways to worship including clapping, raising hands, humming along, or worshipping in the Spirit under your breath! Hopefully this will change soon. Because of this new development, we understand that some of you may elect not to attend the service even though you have registered. That is fine and no action is required on your part to cancel your registration. Please continue to worship with us by watching Church Online if you do not attend physically.
If you do attend, it will be a great joy to see your smiling face, but whether you are with us in person or online, please know that ministering to you is a great privilege for us. We are looking out for your best interests, and we know that as we all stay in faith and continue trusting God, great things are ahead for all of us.
Grace and peace to you,
Pastor Mark and Brenda

According to the most recent update from Alameda County, the current shelter in place order will remain in effect through May 31st. To honor this governmental directive and to do our part to support the well-being of our community, our Church Office will remain closed until the mandate changes.
However, we are happy to report that our services will continue ONLINE! We encourage you to join us for our online services with your household and invite your friends and family to watch from their homes on our Home Page. Pray. Worship. Give. Open your Bible. Take Notes. Join the chat, and shout "Amen!"
Online Services are held at these times:
Sundays at 9 AM and Wednesdays at 7:30 PM
Also, check our Messages page anytime to watch our previous Church Online services on demand!
If you need prayer for anything, please Contact Us!
We really miss seeing you face-to-face and being able to connect with you in person. Until then, we look forward, with great expectancy, to worship and celebrate together as a church family! We will keep you updated on our status as we receive updates from our federal, state and local governments.
Please know that we are here for you, and we are praying for you. May God’s grace, mercy and peace be multiplied to you!
With Love and Care,
Pastors Mark and Brenda
